Some Braves season-ticket buyers haven’t received their tickets
On the eve of the Braves’ first regular-season game at SunTrust Park, some season-ticket holders haven’t received their paper tickets.
Braves spokeswoman Beth Marshall said those season-ticket holders can enter the stadium by using the electronic version of their tickets through the team’s app on their mobile phone. Or, for the first homestand, they can print the tickets from their account and use that printout for admission, she said.
Marshall said a “small number” of season-ticket account holders haven’t yet received their paper tickets. She declined to comment on what caused the problem.
One season-ticket holder said a Braves account representative attributed the issue to printing and shipping delays.
The Braves have said they’ve gone entirely to mobile ticketing for advance single-game purchases this season. But season-ticket holders are supposed to get commemorative paper tickets and the option of using either the paper or electronic versions of their tickets for admission.
Friday’s opener at SunTrust Park against the Padres is sold out.
